It’s grim up north at the Hammond School!
Drama students at the Hoole Bank school presented Grimm and Grimmer - a new take on the well known tales Hansel and Gretel, Little Red Cap (Little Red Riding Hood) and Beauty and The Beast.
The drama students created an unsettling and at times unpleasant place where children are abandoned, young girls faced with frightening choices and lives are turned upside down.
The fairytales were brought to life over five performances which offered audiences a mix of drama, horror and, humour.
