A Chester playwright is about to bring his seventh play to the city.

Chris Leicester, who lives in Christleton, is bringing Hurricane Hill back to the North West after being well received at The London Theatre in Newcross, London last October and The Unity in Liverpool in October 2013.

Co-directed by Paul Braithwaite, the play will be performed at the Forum Studio Theatre in Chester on Saturday, October 31 at 7.30pm.

Chris is the writer, director and producer of this new original piece with Too Write Productions being his theatre company.

The play will also be at the following North West venues: Three Minute Theatre, Manchester - Friday, September 25 at 7.30pm; Lantern Theatre, Liverpool – Friday, October 2 at 7.30pm; EP24-7Radio, 64a, Whitby Road, Ellesmere Port - Saturday, October 10 at 7.30pm; Mill at the Pier, Wigan – Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24 at 7.30pm.

The play tells the story of Hurricane Hill and the worst storm in years. At the isolated house of a famous recluse a stranger arrives and a past will finally be faced. Which life is more valuable - that of a child or a brother-in arms?
