Chester theatre company Tip Top Productions have announced the cast for their Christmas pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk.

The show is scheduled for 40 performances at the Forum Studio Theatre in Chester city centre this festive season.

Having produced pantomimes for more than 20 years, the company made the decision last year to employ a professional cast. The show played to capacity audiences and earned a three-star review from The Stage newspaper.

Returning to lead the Jack and the Beanstalk company will be Kevin Dewsbury who thrilled the crowds last year as Sarah the Cook.

Comedian Kevin Dewsbury

Comedian Kevin has just returned from Edinburgh having enjoyed a successful run of his hit show Kev’s Komedy Kitchen at the Festival Fringe.

Joining Kevin will be Jade Pritchard as Jill, Taran Knight as Silly Willy and Julie Blagrove as Fairy Courgette. Joining the company for the first time is Kieron Attwood as Fleshcreep. Kieron’s theatre credits include pantomime baddy in numerous locations around the UK.

Taking the title role of Jack will be Joe Woolford. Marking his pantomime debut, Joe will be well known to TV audiences from his appearance in The Voice, mentored by Rita Ora in the 2015 series. This year he represented the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest as one half of the duo Joe and Jake.

Jack and the Beanstalk is at the Forum Studio Theatre in Chester from December 9 until January 6. Tickets available from the box office on 01244 341296 or online at www.chestertheatre.co.uk .
