Christmas has come early to Mold this year as Clwyd Theatr Cymru prepare to welcome the festive season with their latest production.

Alan Ayckbourn’s comedySeason’s Greetings  runs in the Anthony Hopkins Theatre until November 2 and features a host of Clwyd Theatr Cymru regulars.

The action is set in the Bunker household on Christmas Eve. Neville and Belinda are hosting the festivities and family and friends gather to eat, drink and make merry. Uncle Harvey is settled in front of the TV. Bernard is more concerned with his amateur puppet show while his wife Phyllis causes mayhem in the kitchen.

Season's Greetings is described as a ‘bittersweet comedy’ and ‘an uncompromising portrait of a traditional family Christmas’, so expect culinary disasters, drunkenness and an amorous Santa.

Alan Ayckbourn is the world's most performed living playwright. He has written more than 75 plays, many of which have been produced in the West End, on Broadway and around the world.
