The Continentals are a six-piece band from the Chester area, playing a mix of retro and modern day floor fillers from the 70s, 80s, 90s and noughties right up to now.
Their repertoire includes many well known numbers without just performing tracks that have been covered over and over again.
Instead The Continentals offer a fresh take on tracks by contemporary artists such as Amy Winehouse, Caro Emerald, Adele and Ceelo Green.
The band - which performs live at Alexander’s in Chester on Friday, August 14 - will also be covering older favourites from stars such as The Faces, The Pretenders, Ian Dury and The Blockheads, Sade and many more.
The night kicks off from 8pm, music starting around 9.30pm with the bar open until late.
