Christmas is coming early to Llay this year as Llay Organ Society stages a special festive concert as part of events to mark its 30th anniversary.
The concert which is being staged at Llay Royal British Legion on Wednesday, November 27 at 7.15pm will feature Blackpool Tower Ballroom organist John Bowdler who will bring the sounds of the world famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom's Mighty Wurlitzer Organ to the Llay venue.
Society chairman Ron Jones said: “We are looking foward to welcoming John back to perform for us, he has played for us many times but this is the first time has has been invited to do our Christmas concert.
“It promises to be super night with a wonderfully festive feel and the legendary sounds of the most famous organ in the world.”
Pre-concert entertainment from 7.20pm will be provided by The New Inn Singers with John taking to the stage at 8pm. Doors open at 6.45pm and tickets at £6 can be reserved on 01978 351475 or will be available on the door.
