Teen heartthrobs Blue will perform live at this year’s Bolesworth show in Tattenhall.

The boyband, most famous for their hit All Rise and for their duets with Elton John and Stevie Wonder, will be the live act show on the Friday evening live music concert of the annual show-jumping event, which starts this year on Thursday, June 12.

Thousands of music fans are expected to attend the show, which will feature other acts set to be announced soon.

The concert adds an exciting new element to the show-jumping extravaganza, which is now in its seventh year.

It has gained international status for 2014 and has been rebranded as the Bolesworth International, running from June 12-15.

As usual, horses and riders will compete for a share of an impressive £120,000 prize fund, alongside the popular Food, Fashion and Lifestyle Festival featuring local food and drink, fashion shows and family entertainment.

Nina Barbour, Director of the Bolesworth Estate, said: “I am extremely excited about our show developing into such a key international event for Great Britain. “Bolesworth will now be on a par with legendary equestrian venues such as Hickstead and Olympia. We are delighted that Blue have agreed to perform as part of our event in Cheshire”
