Infamous for his one-man band style, both in the studio and on the road, Son Of Dave, AKA Benjamin Darvill, has been making music for almost a quarter of a century.

He has played hundreds of raucous shows across the globe, sold upwards of 40,000 records and built a fiercely loyal international fan-base.

The former drummer with Crash Test Dummies and all round eccentric performer has a particular flare for the harmonica and makes a formidable racket, dragging the blues kicking and screaming into the 21st century in the shape of ‘sweet devil’s music’.

Son of Dave will be at Telford’s Warehouse in Chester on Saturday (March 8). Free entry before 9pm, £4 thereafter.
