Glamour girl and TV personality Katie Price may have kept Chester fans waiting but she more than made up for it when she finally arrived during the early hours at a city centre nightclub.
The former Page 3 model, who was also known as Jordan, was at Cruise on Saturday night - although it turned out to be after 2am on Sunday before she put in an appearance.
There was some criticism of her late arrival on social media but Cruise manager Lenny Cunningham said: “The night was a success with over 1,400 people coming to see Katie Price.
“She was a bit late but stayed way over time and entertained until the last customer left the venue. She was very polite and spent lots of time chatting to customers even after she had finished the time she was required to stay.”
Having shot to fame as a topless model, the mum-of-five has had careers in television, books, fashion and music.
This wasn’t her first visit to Chester - in 2008 the queue of people who came to see her at a book signing session at WH Smith stretched almost the length of Frodsham Street.
