There are few music legends more enigmatic and less prolific than Kate Bush so Chester fans of the star will welcome the chance to celebrate her work when Dreaming of Kate comes to Alexander’s on Saturday, June 4.

Kate Bush was the first female artist to reach number one with a self-written song, the first female to have 11 albums consistently in the top 100 album charts and sales figures in the millions.

However, bar a 22-date residency in London in 2014, she hasn’t toured or played shows since 1979.

Dreaming of Kate is a tribute act like no other. Maaike Breijman brings Kate Bush to life by both looking and sounding just like her.

Breijman possesses an eye for the eclectic, just as Bush does. Rave reviews of her Dreaming of Kate show have appeared in many respected publications, with most of them stating the show is the closest anyone will get to the real Kate Bush.
