Former Chester waitress Bexi Owen will be returning to sing at the venue where she previously served tea!

Bexi will play a show at Mad Hatter’s Tearoom on Bridge Street in Chester, bringing her unique style of vintage glamour to the rows on Sunday, March 8 from 2pm.

A mix of classic songs and 1940s inspired original songs will make up the set.

The show is free and has been organised to raise awareness of dementia and a music-based project Bexi has set up entitled Forget Me Never to help those dealing with the disease by incorporating music and authentic vintage props to help them reminisce.

Bexi said: “Dementia is an increasingly prevalent problem and so anything we can do to prevent or slow its progression is so important. Using music as a therapy is a great way to help with memory function and encourage social interaction too.”

As well as Chester, Bexi will be taking the show to tearooms across the UK including locations such as Morecambe, Anglesey, London and Manchester.
