Electric Swing Circus are a six piece live electro swing band that fuses cool 20s swing with stomping electro beats in a dazzling live show.
Their unique sound is created using upright bass, swinging samples, Gypsy guitar, keys, live drums, dirty synths, and topped off with soaring harmonies from the Sisters of Swing.
The Electric Swing Circus hotfoots its way through everything from breakbeat and house to jungle and dubstep, while keeping true to their own unique style of swing.
Since their first show at a sold out London venue, The Electric Swing Circus has gone from strength to strength and in 2012 played at some of the hottest independent music festivals in the UK, including Bestival, Boomtown Fair, Secret Garden Party, WOMAD. 2013 dates include Glastonbury Festival (The Glade Stage) Brixton Coronet Theatre headline show and Fusion Festival in Germany.
The Electric Swing Circus released their debut album on Ragtime Records in May 2013, which has been well received by both the press and their fan base.
The band has a strong social media presence, more than 300,000 views on Youtube and almost 6,000 Facebook fans.
