Chester band Chemistry Lane have been gaining a reputation for their meticulous approach to composing experimental indie music.

With layered instrumental depth and the juxtaposition of delicately bold melody, Chemistry Lane create a sound which is unique but remains captivatingly familiar.

This is not to say that the five-piece are a typical band, as they constantly seek to refine their sound to be accessible and immersive, while pushing their own boundaries into the realm of the avant-garde.

In a live environment the audience engage with their music from within thick walls of sound and hypnotic melody.

Following two self-released EPs Chemistry Lane were signed by Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse Records in 2013.

They are currently writing and recording for their label debut, as well as organising tour dates to coincide with forthcoming releases.

They will play live at Telford’s Warehouse in Chester on Saturday, January 31. Free entry before 9pm, £4 thereafter. Call 01244 390 090 or visit www.telfordswarehouse.com .
