Indigo Sky have been officially going since September 2011 when the band got into a studio and recorded their first EP.

During their first year, the outfit tried to push into cities like Chester, Manchester and Liverpool and managed to work their way through the Surface Unsigned Festival in the Northern region which led them to play venues such as Jabez Clegg, Dry Live and Academy 3 in Manchester.

Out of the 200+ bands that entered in this region, Indigo Sky we managed to come eighth and just missed out on going to the international showcase.

While in the Surface Festival, the band was also in the middle of recording - a project which turned into an album which took a year to complete and is now available to download on iTunes and Spotify.

Indigo Sky can be seen playing live at Telford’s Warehouse in Chester on Friday, January 23. Entry is free before 9pm, £4 thereafter. Call 01244 390 090 or visit www.telfordswarehouse.com .
