The Parents’ Association at Bishops’ High School in Chester is hosting an evening of entertainment on February 27 at 7pm, featuring all-female choir A Handbag of Harmonies.

This vivacious choir of women from the Chester area are well known locally and across the country for their four-part harmonies, pink feather boas and feelgood performances.

The choir sings a wide repertoire of songs from the 1930s to the present day. Included in the programme will be performances by some of the talented young students at Bishops’ High School.

Tickets are £7 per adult, £5 for children, and £20 per family of two adults and two children. Refreshments will be on sale, and doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at the school office in cash, or can be purchased at the door for an additional charge of £1 per ticket. The event takes place at the school on Vaughans Lane, Great Boughton. Enquiries can be made on 01244 313806 or 01244 630685.
