Alexander's in Chester is bringing one of the UK’s brightest up and coming musicians, Tom Seals, to the city on Friday, September 19.

Described as “brilliant!” by Jamie Cullum, and ‘tipped for great things’ by the organisers of the Nantwich Jazz and Blues Festival, Tom has the world at his fingertips.

2013 saw the release of Tom’s debut album, Ace, which soared to number two in the UK Blues Charts and continued to spend four months in the Top 10.

The 21-year-old is a fresh musical powerhouse of the piano. Deciding to put his degree studies at Paul McCartney’s LIPA on hold to fulfil his live and studio commitments, Tom is already one of the UK’s most in-demand side men, working with a array of established artists including Beverley Knight, Daniel Bedingfield, Tony Christie, Kenny Thomas, Steve Brookstein, Joe Stilgoe and Dame Cleo Laine.

Tom will be joined by his band, Nick Bayes on bass guitar and Lawrence Giles on drums, the boys will perform a mixture of blues, pop and soul from the likes of Ray Charles through to Bruno Mars.

Free entry before 9pm, otherwise £5 on the door or £4 in advance. Visit www.alexanderslive.com or call 01244 340005.
