Connie Lush, one of the UK’s most respected and recognised blues singers, is returning to Alexander’s in Chester.

Winning the Best Female Vocalist UK title five times, earning a place in the gallery of greats alongside Alexis Corner and Eric Clapton to name just two, Connie is a voice you need to hear.

In recent years, Connie has performed in more than 30 countries. She has played at some of Europe’s largest and most prestigious festivals, including Glastonbury 2011 and wowing audiences in Moscow, New York and LA, recording in The Cotton Row Studios in Memphis and singing at BB Kings - Connie also toured with BB King through the UK, finishing at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

She is also a known songwriter, writing for TV and featuring at Jazz FM and other radio stations as a DJ.

Connie Lush comes to Chester’s Alexander’s Jazz Theatre on Thursday, June 25.
