Award­-winning South African guitarist and singer­-songwriter Dan Patlansky headlines The Live Rooms in Chester this summer.

The blues-rock wizard comes to the Station Road venue on Sunday, June 12 to promote his new studio album Introvertigo.

The album is the follow­-up to last year’s critically acclaimed Dear Silence Thieves, which spawned rock radio hits Backbite and Fetch Your Spade.

In 2015, Dan toured the UK and Europe with Joe Satriani, and the year before he opened for Bruce Springsteen at Johannesburg's FNB Stadium in front of 64,000 people.

In 2014 he topped Blues Rock Review’s 'Best Blues Rock Albums of 2014' readers' poll, and since then has won various awards. He featured in Classic Rock's Top 50 Albums of 2015, and was voted 'Best Male Blues Artist of the Year' by Blues & Soul Magazine.

Dan tours the UK in May as special guest on the King King’s UK Tour, followed by his own UK shows in June which includes his own headline concert in Chester on June 12.

The new album features the singles Run, Stop Your Messin and Bet On Me.
