Adele has announced she will play two shows at the Manchester Arena as part of a huge European tour in spring 2016.

The Someone Like You star will head out on the road next February for a four-month marathon arena tour, with the first date in Belfast on February 29.

The 27-year-old, who has been breaking chart and sales records all over the world since the release of her third album 25 on November 20, rolls into the Manchester Arena on 7 and 8 March, 2016.

She will also play other UK arenas, such as London, Birmingham and Glasgow, before moving on to major European cities including Barcelona, Lisbon and Berlin.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, December 4 , with advance tickets available on Tuesday, December 1 (European pre-sale on sale December 2). Tickets are priced from £35 - £95 (booking fees apply).

Oscar winner Adele released new single Hello in October. The video has so far been watched 497 MILLION times on Youtube. Hello was followed by 11-track album 25, which today broke Oasis' long-standing first week sales record for 1997's Be Here Now.

According to the Official Charts Company, sales of 25 stand at 737,000, surging past the 696,000 opening week sales the Burnage rockers racked up almost 20 years ago.

The Brit School graduate announced the tour news via a video on her Twitter and instagram accounts, directing fans to her dedicated tour website 'Adele Live'.
