The Rugby World Cup kicks off on Friday, September 18 and and fans will be wanting to watch all the action as it happens.

Friday, October 30 – Rugby World Cup beer festival 6pm-midnight. Marquee in car park, featuring a selection of beers from around the world, large screen TVs to watch the third and fourth place Rugby World Cup playoff and live music both before and after the match. Tickets £10 available online and via Chester Rugby Club. Over 18’s only.

Saturday, October 31 – Rugby World Cup lunch. Watch the World Cup Final and beer festival from 12noon onwards . Exclusive ticket only event in the club house includes three course lunch with bubbly on arrival and wine for all guests. £45 (includes access to beer festival).

Also, Rugby World Cup beer festival 12noon to midnight - marquee in the car park. Family fun day. Dedicated marquee adjacent to the 1XV pitch with bar and family entertainment including bouncy castle, face painting and games. Free entry to all. Large TV’ available to watch the World Cup Final. Entry is free from 12noon. Match starts 4pm. Open to all ages.

The White Horse, Chester Racecourse

Every game of the tournament will be shown on widescreen TVs.

They have also created a special menu with a Rugby World Cup burger for every nation.

Admission to The White Horse will be free for every game (except England v Wales on Saturday, September 26. A ticket (£12.50) will be required to attend. this game which will include admission and a RWC burger and are available to buy from the venue or online

The Rugby World Cup 2015 starts on September 18. The final will be held on October 31, at Twickenham.

The Temple Bar, Frodsham Street

Offering a free pint of beer and the chance to make history on Friday, September 18 at 7pm when it attempts to break the record for the most people drinking the same beer at the same time. All customers wanting to take part must pre-register on Facebook and be happy to join in the group photograph.

General manager Bryn Suckley said, “On the day when rugby is coming home to the UK, it seems only appropriate that we should also bring home the record for drinking beer. We welcome regulars and new customers to the Temple Bar to help us and are looking forward to getting the Proud of Our Ale festival and the Rugby World Cup off to a flying start.”
