Chester Zoo is not the only place with a giraffe - Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet now has one as well.
The family restaurant with the same name has opened on Kinsey Road in Ellesmere Port.
Giraffe has contemporary yet comfortable interiors with drinks, global music and a family-focused menu filled with fresh, healthy dishes.
Examples include beer-battered cod, BBQ baby back ribs and 21-day aged grilled sirloin steak, Penang bang salad, middle-Eastern mezze and a Jambalaya risotto.
There are puzzles and games available to keep the little ones entertained while they choose from the kids menu which includes banana split sundae or chocolate brownie with ice-cream.
The bar also serves gourmet coffee, Teapigs ftea, fresh juices and fruit-filled smoothies as well as an expansive wine list and premium chilled beers.
Opening hours are Monday - Sunday 10am-10pm.
