Kingsley Cricket Club are hosting their annual beer festival with 24 ales on offer at the bar on September 18-19

Tickets are £6 which gets you in to both days of the festival, with a 5pm start on Friday and 1pm on Saturday.

Funds raised go back in to the club and support its junior cricket programme, which now has 90 members.

A new artificial pitch is a priority, while three juniors have made debuts for Cheshire in 2015.

Organiser Julian Holmes said: “This year has seen a record numbers of juniors involved with the club.

“The beer festival is our major fundraiser which makes it all happen.”

Tickets can be bought at the gate, or in advance from the club, The Bulls Head in Frodsham, Forrester’s Shop and Kingsley Post Office.

Club chairman Kieron Ollier said: “We receive a huge amount of support from many local businesses as sponsors of the event.

“We want to thank their contribution to a vibrant community sports club.”
