Chester Charity Beer Festival returns for the 28th year

Event aims to raise £20,000 for charities

Chester Charity Beer Festival returns to Chester Rugby Club on May 12-14, 2016

The Chester Charity Beer Festival returns for the 28th year from May 12-14 at the Rugby Club in Littleton.

Organiser Kelvin Lawson said: “It is astonishing that Round Table has been running this event for nearly 30 years. It is Chester’s premiere live music and beer festival and the demand for tickets is once again very high.

“We are aiming to raise another £20,000 for local charities and it’s not too late for sponsors to get in touch via our website.”

Phil Robson of Chester Round Table said: “The beer festival has come a long way over the years and we are all very proud of what it means to the people it helps. We would like to thank our main sponsors for standing by us and taking us one step closer to three decades!”

Tickets are now on sale from the festival website at www.chesterbeerfestival.co.uk , the Mill Hotel & Spa, Harkers, and Chester Beer & Wine store in Charles Street, Hoole.

A free bus service from the Town Hall and station will be running again and guests will be able to enjoy a wide selection of real ales, ciders, perries, wines, lager and soft drinks. Hickory’s will also be back with their pop-up restaurant.
