You only need to walk through Chester City Centre and notice how many coffee shops there are to realise the extent of our love affair with our favourite beverage.

For that reason, we are celebrating International Coffee Day on Thursday October 1 and in anticipation, we asked you to tell us your favourite place to get a cuppa in Chester. Here's the ones you picked:

Another shop flying the flag for independent businesses in the city, Cinderbox on Bridge Street was a popular choice. Staff say they pride themselves on excellent customer service and a warm, relaxing atmosphere.

Chester has 17 Costa outlets in total, and some of you still think it's one of the best places to get a brew.

If you're a fan of the sitcom Friends, this place must be heaven. Decorated exactly like the Central Perk in the show, episodes play constantly on a loop whilst you drink your coffee.
