HE may be the toughest James Bond yet, but Hoylake hottie Daniel Craig revealed a softer side when he admitted that he was reduced to tears when he first heard Adele’s theme for new 007 movie Skyfall.
He says: “I cried. From the opening bars I knew immediately, then the voice kicked in and it was exactly what I’d wanted from the beginning.”
New mum Adele was allowed a sneak peek at the script early on to give her some inspiration.
She’s a lucky girl – critics have said that the film, which opens tomorrow, is possibly the best Bond yet.
Daniel adds: “It just got better and better because it fitted the movie. In fact the more of the movie we made, the more it fitted it.”
