The glamour-pusses are back. Next week the Real Housewives of Cheshire will return to our screens for a second series of the popular ITVBe reality show.

The show kept us entertained over 10 weeks with the champagne-fuelled exploits of Cheshire WAGs Leanne Brown, Tanya Bardsley, Magali Gorré and Dawn Ward, beauty salon owner Ampika Pickston and ‘domestic goddess’ Lauren Simon.

And the drama picks up where it left off at 10pm on Monday September 7.

Its stars gathered at the Hilton Hotel on Deansgate in Manchester to chat to to our sister paper the MEN about what we can expect.

More drama and even more rows

Ampika's dinner party

Lauren says: “We have relaxed into our role and friendships and we are more natural. But, no, the rows haven’t stopped. If anything it’s gone worse.”

Ampika adds: “There’s drama, glamour, tears and laughter, love and passion. It’s a lot more dramatic and everybody gets on each other’s nerves.”

More glamour

Dawn, Lauren and Ampika at Bolesworth Castle, Tattenhall, Chester

We’re promised ‘lots of dresses and lots of polo’. As well as more lavish outfits we’ll also get to see some of the ladies indulging in beauty treatments including fat freezing and a 24 carat gold massage.

Changes

Lauren Simon

We meet more of Magali’s friends and family in this series and we’ll see her standing up for herself more. She said: “I’m very straight forward with not so much tolerance for nonsense.”

Lauren says series two will see her ‘grow up and become a career woman’. And we’ll see friendships change – some for the better and some for the worse.

Vow renewal

Magali Gorré

Magali will renew her wedding vows to ex footballer Dean Gorré. There’s a trip to London to buy outfits and Lauren and Ampika ask to be bridesmaids. Whether feisty Magali agrees remains to be seen.

Don’t worry it isn’t for long, just for a trip to Portugal with Lauren’s outspoken hubby Paul, the source of a lot of friction in the first series. There will also be a journey to London to pick dresses for Magali’s vow renewal ceremony. And the ladies are excited to visit a certain famous singer’s old house (we’ve been sworn to secrecy).

More shocks

Dawn's dinner party

Remember the dinner party from hell that ended the first series? Well the ladies manage to top that in the second.

Dawn says: “I didn’t think after episode 10 that we could top the dinner party but we definitely have.”
