Ex-Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan threw a mini-strop when she landed in Australia for this year's I'm A Celebrity.

The 22-year-old, who played Rosie Webster, seemed shocked to find a crowd waiting to greet her at Brisbane airport yesterday.

She refused to speak to fans or journalists and wouldn't smile for pictures.

Exclaiming to her chaperone: "I've just got off a two-day flight and I've got people coming towards me. This is irritating.

"I hate flying. They put me on a two-day flight and I can't handle it."

The usually glamorous star, who has embraced the lifestyle of a WAG alongside footballer boyfriend Scott Sinclair, had her hair in an untidy bun and was wearing a T-shirt and leather jacket.

She has been working out to get in shape for the show and it's expected that she will show off her curves in sexy bikinis.

Actress Linda Robson, who played Tracey Stubbs in Birds of a Feather, was the first contestant to arrive at Brisbane airport.

Conservative MP Nadine Dorries, who's facing criticism for appearing on the show, is said to have arrived yesterday too.

Former heavyweight boxer David Haye, comedian Brian Conley, ex-EastEnder Charlie Brooks, the sixth Doctor Who actor Colin Baker, Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, celeb cook Rosemary Shrager and legendary darts player Eric Bristow are also expected to star in this year's I'm A Celebrity.

Wrestler and Hollywood action star The Rock has also been linked the show, but he has dismissed these rumours as "garbage" on Twitter.
I'm a Celebrity 2012 begins on ITV1 on Sunday November 11 after the X Factor.
