On Friday, November 18 the nation will come together to raise funds for the BBC charity Children in Need and we want you to tell us if you have a fantastic fundraiser planned in Chester or Ellesmere Port.

Graham Norton will present the annual telethon along with Tess Daly, Greg James, Rochelle and Marvin Humes and Ade Adepitan.

Traditionally the show is filled with lots of celebrities and special one-off shows and appearances.

Graham said: "It is a huge privilege to join the presenting team for the Children in Need Appeal show. This year we’d love to raise as much money as we possibly can in honour of the late Sir Terry Wogan.”

Doctor Who Christmas Special preview

Fans of the sci-series will get an exclusive clip of the upcoming Christmas special The Return of Doctor Mysterio.

The episode will see Peter Capaldi return as The Doctor and the story will see him team up with an investigative reporter and a masked vigilante to defend New York from a terrifying alien invasion.

The Christmas special will be the first time fans will see The Doctor's new assistant Bill, played by Svengali's Pearl Mackie.

Eddie Redmayne with Pudsey

The sketch was recorded on the set of Eddie’s new film, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them and will see the actor doing his bit to raise money for the appeal.

The storyline follows Eddie and Bake Off presenters Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins on a quest find Pudsey Bear.

Team GB join the stars of Strictly Come Dancing

Team GB Olympic medallists Helen Glover MBE, Hollie Webb, Joe Clarke and Lutalo Muhammad will join the stars of Strictly Come Dancing teaming up with professional dancers Janette Manrara, Karen Clifton, Pasha Kovalev and Neil Jones.

Junior edition of Would I Lie To You?

Would I Lie To You host Rob Brydon is back for a special junior edition. Comedians David Mitchell and Lee Mack will be team captains for this mini-episode and their guests will be children. Watch as some of them make incredible-sounding claims, whilst the others help their captains challenge the opposing teams.

Superstar Michael Buble has recorded a very special performance for the show and girl band Little Mix will be taking to the stage for a live performance.

There will also be a West End musical special from the cast of Aladdin The Musical.
