Easter adventure quest at Beeston Castle and Woodland Park, Chapel Lane, Beeston, Cheshire, CW6 9TX

Forest Explorers have organised a self led hunt around the forest where you can search for clues left by the Easter bunny.

Can you answer all the questions and spell out the Easter phrase?

Can you solve the Easter hunt to receive your chocolate egg prize?

Any child wishing to receive an Easter egg prize must purchase a ticket, adults may walk with them for free.

Heritage and stories will come alive throughout the weekend with the gathering of boats and beer, canal craft and children’s activities, music and much more.

For the sixth year, Sea Shanty performers from across the country will be performing across the museum’s restored buildings throughout the festival as well as in concert on the Friday and Saturday nights.

The Easter bunny will be hopping over the wall into the 13.5 acre garden to offer families the ultimate day out with a Cadbury Easter egg hunt.

Hop on down to Church Farm for a unique Bank Holiday treat.

Ride on the tractor up to the Church Farm forest. Adults and children will love working together to complete the games of skill and solve the Easter puzzle.

Play hook-a-duck, basketball dunk, see-saw, ring toss, target practice, i-spy and lots more.

You’ll then meet the cuddly Easter bunny, who’ll reward the children with a chocolate gift.

Easter extravaganza set to return to Northwich

A range of activities are happening throughout Northwich including the return of the much-loved easter egg hunt competition.

There will also be petting zoos, owls from Vale Royal Falconry and face painting.

Easter bunnies and chicks will also be on hand to give out treats and eggs to passers-by.

The event will culminate with an easter bonnet parade organised by Artwork Studios and Gallery which will see children from local schools walk through the town centre wearing their handmade easter bonnets.

The Chester food, drink and lifestyle festival, Chester Racecourse, Grey Friars, Chester

Celebrity chef Simon Rimmer is back at the Chester Food, Drink and Lifestyle Festival this year

The festival is the biggest event of its type to take place anywhere in the UK this Easter.

Over 150 exhibitors highlight the best the country, region and county has to offer.

There will be free cooking classes for children, Simon Rimmer from Sunday Brunch returns as the headline chef, co-present of Master Chef Gregg Wallace will also return to judge the Ch1ChesterBID sous chef challenge and more.

There are ably supported by an all star cast of chefs and TV celebrities.

Children under 12 go free and adult pre-paid earlybird tickets are £6.

Registration opens at 9.15am.

Enjoy taking part in a 5km dash through the stunning forest on Easter Sunday with your family and friends and celebrate at the finish by collecting your Easter Egg and running medal.

Falconry displays at Carden Park, Broxton Road, Chester, CH3 9DQ

Families will be treated to free falconry displays over the Easter weekend happening at 4pm from Friday, March 25 - Monday, March 28.

There is also an opportunity to book a 'Hawk Walk' experience around the 1000 acre Estate for £35 per person.

The centre's free Easter Egg hunt, for children under 12 years, will take place between 10.30am and 2.30pm, with all participants receiving a chocolate prize and entry into a prize draw to win one of two choc-tastic Easter themed hampers.

There will be a birds of prey display from 'Lord of the Wings' and an Easter bunny will be hopping in regularly to meet the centre's younger shoppers and pose for photos from 10.30am until 3.00pm.

There will also be a free Easter themed cupcake decorating workshop.

Garden open day at Eaton Hall, Chester

There will be falconry displays at 11.30am and 2pm and duck herding at 12.45pm and 3.30pm.

The Little Big Band will be performing throughout the day in the garden.

There will be various craft and charity stalls, an Easter egg trail for children, flower arranging and rides on 'Katie' the steam engine (£3 adults and £1 children)

There is a carriage museum, family history room, military museum and stables.
