Britain’s favourite postman will be coming to The Brindley in Runcorn for a live show.

Postman Pat will appear at the High Street venue on Saturday, April 26, for a new show called  Postman Pat Live – It’s Showtime!

The event – with two shows starting at 1pm and 3.30pm – will involve audience participation and new songs to appeal to the whole family.

Other characters to star alongside Postman Pat include Ted Glen, Mrs Goggins, Ajay, Amy and Pat’s trusted sidekick Jess, the black and white cat.

The show’s plot sees a talent show come to Pat’s village of Greendale and the villagers have to come up with an idea that gets the vote of approval from judge Sebastian Sly.

Ted Glen decides to get a karaoke machine fixed up for the show but when Amy suggests solar panels would be more eco-friendly, Postman Pat sets off on a mission to deliver the equipment needed, but a few mishaps along the way puts the whole show in jeopardy.

The show is described by Halton Council as ‘must-see for families with children aged three to six-years-old’.

Tickets are priced at £12, £10 and £40 for a family ticket and can be bought from the Brindley box office by calling 0151 907 8360 or visiting www.thebrindley.org.uk
