Celebrate the best of pop music with a glorious hit soundtrack for our children's generation as the Pop Factor show comes to the Lyceum Theatre in Crewe on Wednesday, April 23.

Embracing the music, fashion and cultural trends of the UK, Pop Factor tributes the very best of now in a show featuring local students from South Cheshire Ballet and Theatre School run by Principal Clare Moult.

Clare first began dancing at the age of 11 at the Jacqui Capper School of dance in Crewe.

It was there that she found the love of teaching and so at the age of 18 she enrolled on a full time dance teacher’s course at the Park School, Preston.

Qualifying top of her year with five teaching qualifications she then was given the opportunity of becoming principal at the Carlotta school of Dance in Chester.  Five years later Clare took over the Cynthia Hancock School of Dance in Crewe and rebranded the two schools into what is now known as the South Cheshire Ballet & Theatre School.

The school grew to three branches two years later when Clare took on the First Steps dance school in Malpas.

Six years later the Malpas branch was sold off so that we could put all our efforts into the Crewe and Chester schools.

Since leaving college Clare has gone on to take further higher level teaching exams gaining Associate Diploma exams in Ballet, Tap and Modern. Clare also gained a distinction with 100% for her grade 8 singing exam and a distinction with 98% for her Diploma in professional singing.

Featuring a vibrant ensemble cast who, between them, have trained at some of the most prestigious arts schools in the UK, they sing and dance their way through this interactive feel-good concert show.

Pop Factor is the brainchild of West End performer Jonathan Mawson (Legally Blonde) and acclaimed choreographer Hayley-Jane Simmons.
