Santa Claus is paying Cheshire an early additional visit this Christmas, flying into Lady Heyes Park, Frodsham on Thursday, December 1, 5.30pm-8pm, to be part of their free Christmas Festival.

The event will see Cheshire favourite Lady Heyes Park, the popular retail outlet, caravan park and superb Glamping site, host a Christmas Shopping Extravaganza, opening their 17 retail units and more than 40 Christmas stalls, selling fabulous festive gifts, delicious food and beverages and a Vintage Tea Room selling mouth-watering cakes.

Mince pies and mulled wine will be served in the Clubhouse for hungry shoppers and those ready to sit back and enjoy the festivities, including Christmas carols from Frodsham Choir.

Children will see Santa in his new sleigh courtesy of the Frodsham Rotary Club and be able to pop their Christmas letters into the Royal Mail post box for the elves at the North Pole. A street magician will also be working his magic.

Lady Heyes managing director Tony Faulkner

Lady Heyes managing director Tony Faulkner said: “Our last Christmas Festival was five years ago, so for 2016 we thought we’d bring a little seasonal sparkle back to Frodsham. This is the first of what we hope will become an annual event and grow year on year.

“There will be something for all the family throughout the evening. Busy parents can pick up some beautiful and unusual Christmas gifts, whilst the children can get into the Christmas spirit with help from Santa.”

Lady Heyes will host the event in aid of Will to Work Workshop, a local charity supporting those in the community who have faced difficulties and trauma, through mental illness, heart attacks, strokes or other hardships, but want or need to get back to work.

Tony added: “Our event is free to attend, but we’ll be selling £5 tickets for our prize draw. The ticket will entitle you to a mince pie, glass of mulled wine and entry into our competition to win a two night mid-week stay for up to a family of four in one of our deluxe glamping pods, based at Lady Heyes Park. Glamping is the ultimate in glamorous camping. Our deluxe glamping pods even have their own hot tubs!

“Will to Work Workshop is a fantastic organisation which desperately needs funding. Come along to our Christmas Festival, get into the festive spirit and help us support this great charity, whilst kick-starting your Christmas celebrations!”

The Lady Heyes Christmas Festival takes place on Thursday, December 1, 5.30pm – 8pm. Admittance is free.
