The annual festive fun that is the Chester Santa Dash returned to the streets of the city on Sunday 6 December.

Despite a forecast of strong winds through Sunday morning from the Met Office there was a strong Santa turnout.

That's all folks!

So the Santa Dash is over for another year. Well done to everyone involved, you can see our final report on the fun run.

We agree with Tony. Great turnout despite the inclement weather.

Soggy Santas

The rain is really starting to come down now, but our man Mike Fuller has found himself a dry spot in the Rows.

Is this cheating?

We think a Santa must stay fully robed for the duration of the Dash...

Competitive

Some of these Santas really went for it out on the route. Fantastic efforts.

We have a winner!

This Santa clearly didn’t like the rain. He’s just a blur in our pictures. The 3k route was destroyed by this Claus.

Santas, Santas, everywhere

Fantastic turnout. Mike Fuller is in position down at the start line, if you spot him go and say hello and tell him why you’re running.
