The next Rural Touring Arts show taking place at the Goodwill Hall in Faddiley is a stage version of one of the best loved films of all time.

Farnham Maltings Theatre Company is presenting a production of It’s A Wonderful Life based on the classic 1946 Frank Capra film starring James Stewart.

The Goodwill Hall is a village hall on the outskirts of Nantwich which regularly hosts professional arts and theatre events through the Cheshire Rural Touring Arts scheme.

It’s A Wonderful Life tells the story of George Bailey, a desperate middle-aged clerk who discovers the difference he has made to his family, his friends and his home town - with a little help from Clarence, the apprentice angel.

Farnham Maltings is bringing the struggles and joys of 1940s small town America to the villages and towns of England.

Using their own inimitable style the company has created two hours of theatre that promises to warm the coldest of places through the long winter nights.

The show can be seen on Friday, January 16 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £10 for an adult and £6 for a child. All include a cheese supper. Tickets available from Janice Wycherley on 01270 524441.
