Eight out of 10 Cats star Jon Richardson is heading to Glyndwr University in Wrexham early next month.

The 2013 British Comedy Award nominee will appear at the William Aston Hall on Thursday, May 8 with his new tour Nidiot.

The perennial singleton and misanthrope is determined to become a more easygoing person for the sake of his friends and his future health.

Find out at the show whether or not a leopard can change its spots, or if they are doomed to be angry forever not to have been given a more uniform and symmetrical fur pattern.

Away from his live stand up, Jon is best known as team captain on 8 Out Of 10 Cats and remains in demand for television and radio appearances.

His recent TV credits include Have I Got News For You (BBC One), Live At The Apollo (BBC One), Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC One), Channel 4’s Comedy Gala Live At The 02 and Never Mind The Buzzcocks (BBC Two).

Jon also appeared in his very own Channel 4 documentary Jon Richardson: a Little Bit ODC, which subsequently won a Mind Media award.

He starred alongside fellow 8 out of 10 Cats captain Sean Lock in 2012 in the series Hillbilly Holiday (Channel 4).

His appearance in Wrexham is one of more than 60 dates on the Nidiot tour between April and November.

Tickets for Jon Richardson are available to buy online via glyndwr.ac.uk/events, priced £19.50.
