One of the country’s brightest up and coming comedians will be gracing the stage at Alexander’s Comedy Club in Chester on Saturday, December 20.

Carly Smallman sings funny songs. Her unique blend of outrageous impropriety and adorable sincerity has established her as a firm favourite on the comedy circuit.

She has played at some fabulous venues, from major weekend comedy clubs, to arts centres, to the Hammersmith Apollo to her living room!

She has appeared as a panellist on Viral Tap (ITV) doing stand-up on The Rob Brydon Show (BBC2), was a regular cast member for hidden camera show Secret Interview (Channel 5), moaned about irritating individuals on The Most Annoying People 2011 (BBC3), and criticised people’s life choices on The Top 50 Plastic Surgery Shockers (E4).

She has also written and performed sketches for BBC Comedy Online, and has been heard on What’s So Funny (BBC Radio 4 Extra) with Rufus Hound.

At present, Carly is working on a variety of different projects. She is currently writing follow up Edinburgh show to 2013′s debut The Appalling Carly Smallman. It is called Made in Penge and promises to be an hour of jokes, songs, body confidence and empowerment.
