A star from the American TV show Storage Hunters is to pay a visit to the Minerva Lodge Tattoo Club in Chester on Wednesday, December 10.

Ron ‘Papa Bear’ Kirkpatrick achieved cult fame from being a larger than life character on the hit US show in which storage units are auctioned for their contents to the highest bidder.

Due to regular showings on popular TV channel Dave, Storage Hunters and its characters have achieved massive popularity with audiences in the UK.

Papa Bear might seem to be more at home in places like biker bars than at a storage auction, but he has proven during his time on Storage Wars that he has a keen eye for hidden bargains, rarities and items of value.

In his UK tour in aid of promoting Storage Hunters, Papa Bear chose to come to Chester and more specifically Minerva Lodge Tattoo Club.

He also requested to have Minerva’s owl logo tattooed on him as a memento of his time spent here.

There will be a Q&A session with Papa Bear, photo opportunities and music from local bands The Queens Minions and Broken 3 Ways, who have just returned from supporting Reel Big Fish.

Tickets £6.50 from Theticketsellers.co.uk or visit the MLTC Facebook page www.facebook.com/minervalodgetattooclub .
