Organisers are hard at work planning one of the largest firework displays in Chester.

Chester Lions Club will be hosting their annual Fireworks Fun Night at Chester Racecourse on Saturday, November 7.

Entertainment at this year’s spectacular event will be provided by live band Oblivion and young solo singer Caitlin Drake, while a funfair, clowns, jugglers and face painters will add to the perfect party atmosphere.

Gates will open at 5pm, the toddlers fireworks display will start at 6.45pm followed by the stunning main display at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available on the gate priced at £5 per person, children under seven are free of charge.

All proceeds go to the Chester Lions' local charities.
