Local band Scarlett Arcade will be delivering some ear candy for fans of electro music at The Box in Crewe Friday June 6.

The female fronted band promise a luscious blend of clubby beats, catchy hooks, epic vocals, 80s style synth riffs and modern ambiance.

Scarlett Arcade came together last year, uniting a collection of musicians with a passion for pushing the boundaries of electronic music.

Often compared to Chvrches, they deliver uber cool musical escapism and leg trembling beats to ignite the crowd.

Despite their short time on the music scene, they already boast two four-track EP releases, have had live interviews and numerous tracks aired on the BBC.

They have performed a string of live shows with the likes of Step On and Bit Jam, have supported Troumaca at the Sugarmill and are in the final stages of completing their first self penned album.

Rob Adcock of BBC Introducing, said of the band: “Chilling vocals and big beats. Watching this lot come together has been a pleasure.

“Banging out consistently good tunes and always doing something different to what’s out there now.”

The band have a busy couple of months planned, playing at the Full Moon in Newcastle on April 18, the Limelight Festival on May 3 and the Alsager Music Festival on July 12.

Entry for their debut show at The Box on June 6 is £5. Doors open at 7.30pm.
