CHESTER Gladiators are aiming to impress in the club’s second season in the North West Men’s League.

Last year the Gladiators struggled for consistency, although they showed some strong mid-season form and came within six points of Division Five winners Portico Vine in the final game of 2012.

The club has added Nick Joiner to the coaching staff for the 2013 season, which kicks off next month.

Coach Paul Foster said: “We know what this league is all about now and it is a tough competition. You need to be on your game.

“The players are up for the challenge and we are really looking forward to getting out on the park.”

The club will line-up in Division Five alongside 12 other teams.

The Gladiators have moved to a new home at the Cheshire County Sports Club in Upton.

New players are welcome. No previous rugby league experience is needed. For further details call Jim Green on 07512 355396.
