CHESTER believe their home game against Preston Grasshoppers tomorrow is their biggest ever.

Not only would victory strengthen their own promotion bid from North One, it would strike a big blow to the hopes of one of their main title rivals.

It is a four-pointer in the two teams' bid to reach the National League and, although Chester are the league's form team with seven successive victories, director of rugby Steve Dorrington isn't getting carried away.

'We are on a good run, but during that time we haven't played any of the teams above us, so this is not only a big test, I believe it is the biggest game in the club's history.

'I still believe we need to win all our remaining matches to stand a chance of getting promoted, so if we lose to Preston I think we can forget winning the title.

'The players are extremely focused. We have prepared every day since we beat Vale of Lune last Saturday, because we all know how important this game is.'

There is a doubt about Paul Campbell who has a knee injury and if he fails a late fitness test Nathan Sandland-Jones will step up off the bench with Gareth Sanger moving into the second row.
