WINNINGTON Ju-Jitsu Club won the Albert Lloyd Memorial Trophy for the second year running, beating 10 other clubs from across Cheshire.
It proved a runaway victory for Winnington and nearly all their team won gold, silver or bronze medals in their individual weight categories.
Third place went to Delamere who are affiliated to the Winnington Club.
The back-to-back competition included juniors aged five up to seniors.
Winnington's next event is a sparring competition in February.
The club welcomes newcomers. Training is on Tuesdays and Fridays (7pm) at its Winnington Avenue headquarters. Affiliated clubs are at Rud-heath, Delamere and Crewe and further details are available from chief instructor and 6th Dan Bob Brown on 01606 47090.
