TEAMS descended on the Cheshire County Sports Club in Upton on Saturday for Chester Netball Club's annual junior tour nament.
There was a home win for Chester as their Apollo team won the under 12s section, their squad comprising Sophie Jones, Ellie Griffiths, Carly Wynne, Elizabeth Sutton, Ellen Blain, Sophia Tandy, Hannah Forrester-Roberts, Mel Poulton and Abby Waring.
As well as the competition for U12s, there were also titles at U13, U14 and U15 level up for grabs.
Tameside defeated Alsager in the U13s section to conclude the morning's action, leaving 22 teams to fight it out for the U14s and U15s prizes in the afternoon. Tameside once again finished on top to win both sections.
The competition attracted teams from Manchester and Rochdale, Flintshire and Wirral. Chester were represented in each age group, with two teams in the U13s and U15s.
