ANGLING: WAYNE Crouch was the week's top weigher when he won the Greyhound, Saughall AC match at Hampton Spring Fishery's long island pool on Saturday.
He put 75lbs 5oz of carp on the scales to finish well ahead of his nearest rival Steve Bampton, who had 31-12-0, with Guy Crouch third with 31-9-0.
The following day the club fished at Han-church Fishery, Stoke-on-Trent, where Dave Bampton won with 16-2-0 of small carp and crucians, ahead of Steve Bampton's 14-8-0 and Don Sexton's 12-12-0.
Ellesmere Port's Martin Churchill took top spot in the Hampton Springs Sunday open match with 62lbs of carp.

Dave Randles jnr won the Willaston AC match at Lingmere Fishery with a 39-8-0 mixed bag, from Jamie Hughes with 35-6-0 and Robbie Woods with 27-10-0.
Ian Jones posted the top weight in the Royal Mail, Chester AC match at Holmston Hall lake with 57-13-0 of carp, from Phil Roberts and Mike Walsh with 10-14-0 of carp.
Rob Proctor, of Wirral Gamefishers, netted a 7-8-0 salmon from the club's water on the Dee near Corwen. The fish fell to a shrimp.
Victory in the Piper AC match on the long island pool at Hampton Springs went to Tony Johnson with a tench-based 12-5-0, ahead of Daniel White's 20-14-0 of tench and Phil White with a 5lbs carp and some tench for 14-12-0.
The Dane at Middlewich was Sunday's venue for the Railway, Barrow AC and Bob Ruscoe took the honours with a 4-8-0 barbel and some small fish for a total of 5lbs. Frank Green was next with 4-6-0 of dace and chub and Trevor Roberts took a 3lbs chub in his 3-2-0.
A 4lbs tench helped Brian Summerville to victory in the Grosvenor Estates AC match at Eaton Hall, adding some small fish to weigh in 6-6-0. Ron Evans took 2-1-0 of rudd and perch and Norman Cadman had 2lbs.
Henry Mellor was top rod in the Wirral Borough Council AC match at Offa's Dyke pool, his 5-8-0 of carp and crucians putting John Walsh and Don Parkinson into second place with 4-14-0 of roach.
Geoff Selby led at the end of the Lobol AC match at priory pool with 9-14-0 of ide and skimmers, ahead of Damian Wilcocks's 8-2-0, including a 5-8-0 common carp, and Steven Dean with 6-15-0 of skimmers.
Frank Hughes was top in their Tuesday match at Milton Green with 19-1-0 of barbel and carp, ahead of Danny Boothroyd's 18-1-0 with a 10-14-0 common carp and Maurice Molloy who had 15-13-0 of carp and barbel.
Phil Dawson was top in the Egerton Arms AC match on the Dee's beat six at Holt with a 2-2-0 mixture ahead of Bernard Green's 0-2-0.

Paul Johnson took top honours at the Lingmere Fishery open match with a 40-14-0 mixture, ahead of Robbie Woods with 38lbs and Dave Randles jnr with 37lbs. Leader in the Saturday match was Robbie Woods with a carp-based 34-4-0, from Mark Needley with 29-4-0 and Dave Randles jnr with 28-8-0.
Guy Silvester won the Caldy AS match at Hampton Springs with 25-10-0 of carp and crucians, from Paul Robinson's 23-6-0 and John Ingram's 16-2-0.
Les Picken was up front in the Tarvin Sands AC match on home waters with 27-13-0 of carp, rudd and roach, beating Alan Roberts with 27-7-0 of carp and Mark Greasley with 26-12-0 carp.
Winner in the Rake and Pikel AC contest at Lloyd's Meadow was Ray Cowley with 14-2-0 of carp, just in front of Dave Maddocks with 13-8-0 and Brian Crawford with 5-4-0.
Rivacre AC's match on the Dee at Farndon was won by Harry Gittens with 1-14-0 of dace and gudgeon, from Dougie Walsh's 1-5-0 and Billy Gore's 0-14-0.
FISHERIES NEWS Meadow: Bill Jones, of Ellesmere Port, tempted rainbows of 5-12-0 and 4-2-0 to a black buzzer.
Lake Hill: Tony McGibbon, of Chester, lured rainbows of 6lbs and 5lbs to a blackbird's fancy and Ted Matthews, Chester, fished with a ledgered worm to take a 7-8-0 rainbow.
Harthill: Ellesmere Port's Simon Green netted eight carp between 4lbs and 12lbs using floating breadcrust.
Lloyd's Meadow: Mike Partridge, of Upton, landed 131 carp between 4lbs and 10lbs using paste.
Cheshire: Michael Bridges, of Chester, took more than 80lbs of carp up to 5lbs and roach up to 1-8-0 using paste or pellet.
Four Oaks: Lucas Streets, of Ellesmere Port, netted 30lbs of carp up to 6-8-0 using sweet-corn.
Dearnford Hall: Ellesmere Port angler John Alcock used a gold-headed montanna to lure an 8-8-0 rainbow.
