NEIL Hershaw of West Cheshire AC made the trip to North Wales for the Nick Beer 10k road race at Llandudno.
He clocked a time of 39 minutes and 12 seconds, which saw him finish second in the over 45 age group. He was 35th overall.
Hershaw was joined at the event by club colleague Dave Hough who posted second place in the over-60 men’s age group and 105th place overall in 50:53.
Jim Jones represented West Cheshire AC at the final round of the Manchester Area Cross Country League and finished 34th in the over-45 age group and 187th overall with a time of 53:39.
Entries are being accepted for the Essar Chester Spring Five Miles Road Race being organised by West Cheshire AC on Wednesday, April 3 (7pm start).

Organisers are aiming to exceed last year’s record entry of 434.
Fixtures this weekend include the Sale Harriers Open Indoor Meeting at Sportcity, Manchester, on Sunday.
The Village Bakery Wrexham Half Marathon, also takes place on Sunday, starting at 11am.
The event has reached its limit of 500 so entries are now closed.
