THE overseas trip to face unbeaten league leaders Douglas awaits Ellesmere Port this Saturday.

The Euromanx South Lancs/Cheshire Three sides clash for the second time in just over a month.

Port travel to the Isle of Man with a much-changed squad from their previous outing, a 27-19 win over Holmes Chapel, due to availability.

Coach Dave Layder is hoping his young charges set out to make a name for themselves.

He said: “It is a great opportunity for some younger players to go out there and play out of their skins for a first-team berth. Games against the top side often bring the best out of young players and hopefully they will react.”
