ROWING: THREE Northwich athletes - Karen Taylor, Fiona Hill and Thomas Carter - rowed their way to a gold, a silver and two bronze medals at the Scottish Indoor Rowing Championships.
It was the fifth race in the 2004/2005 Concept 2 British Indoor Rowing Grand Prix series and they raced with more than 300 other athletes over 2,000m on the indoor machines at Motherwell.
Taylor, of Hartford, finished in first place in the Women's 30+ lightweight category in a time of seven minutes 47.9 seconds while Hill picked up a bronze medal in the Women's Junior 18 Lightweight category.
Carter collected a silver medal in the Men's Under 23 Lightweight category and a bronze medal in the Men's Open Lightweight event.
Carter and Hill are both Northwich Rowing Club members.
