JENNY Tinmouth is looking forward to speeding round her home circuit this weekend.

The 31-year-old mechanic from Ellesmere Port will line up on the grid for round seven of the Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship, at Oulton Park.

Jenny began the season racing in the British Superbike Championship but the step up to the UK’s premier motorcycling series failed to work out, so she returned to Supersport racing, riding her trusty Honda CBR600RR.

Her last Supersport outing was on the redesigned Snetterton circuit, where Jenny finished in 27th in Saturday’s sprint race but followed up with 18th position in Sunday’s feature race.

Jenny said: “During the weekend I got myself settled back into Supersport racing and had a really good second race. I’m pleased with the result and my progress over the weekend,

“I’m really happy on the bike and my confidence is growing each time I go out on track. It was a really good weekend and now I’m looking forward to Oulton Park, my local round.”
