JENNY Tinmouth said it was a case of ‘job done’ on her return to the British Supersport Championship at the weekend.

The mechanic from Whitby has endured a difficult campaign, dropping out of the British Superbike series after three rounds and returning to the Supersport support series.

Tinmouth, 32, was in action at Knockhill in Scotland at the weekend, finishing 23rd and 20th as the only female rider on the grid.

She told her followers on Twitter: “Job done for this weekend, just to get a good solid race weekend under my belt. Feeling happy and looking forward to cracking on now!”

She will continue to compete at Supersport level for the remainder of the season, with the next round at Snetterton on July 1.
