ENGINE problems brought a premature end to Jenny Tinmouth’s involvement in the bank holiday weekend’s British Superbike action at Oulton Park.

The Ellesmere Port rider had to sit out Monday’s two races after the clutch went on her Hardinge Sorrymate.com Honda during Sunday’s first race.

Jenny, 33, of Whitby, managed to get her bike across the line, finishing a lowly 24th overall, but was unable to compete the following day.

The mechanic was back in work on Tuesday morning, working on her bike so it will be ready for the next Superbike meeting at Snetterton later this month.
